Kaleidoscop

Akitsu's kaleidoscopic works celebrate spontaneity in our decision-making. Colors are applied subconsciously, wishing the finalschema will inspire future users to access the dormant possibilities of their own lives.

An exhibition dedicated to Kaléidoscope pieces is currently taking place at Brûleie Möka

Glaze mouvements

The glaze patterns on Akitsu's pieces give a physical form to her belief that "fate" is eternally alive as both chance and consequence.

Kangaroo Raku

Akitsu presented her inaugural exhibition, Kangaroo Raku, in 2023, showcasing Raku ware created in Australia.

In 2025, she further developed her Raku works and exhibited them at SAMU, a new art space dedicated to the Japanese tea ceremony. For the opening, she conducted an incense and tea ceremony together with tea master Adam Sōmu, and co-exhibited her creations alongside Adam’s calligraphy paintings.
